I understand that the new version of GRAMPS (5.2.0) no longer works on Windows 7 64bit. I just wanted to say that it would be nice if you put that information in the download page. I have Windows 7 Professional 64bit, and I downloaded the new GRAMPS version only to get an error when I tried to open it after installation. After searching the web I found that the website portableapps.com was the only place that I found that stated that the new version of GRAMPS doesn’t work on Windows 7 64bit. All the other download spots on the web listed that it still works on Windows 7 64bit.
Thanks for pointing out the outdated information, another volunteer has corrected the Windows section of the Download page to reflect your experience, hope that is a little clearer for other people.

Our Windows AIO version uses the MSYS2 build environment which requires 64bit Windows 8.1 / Windows Server 2012 R2 as a minimum supported version. They dropped support for Windows 7 and 8.0 on 15th Jan 2023.
