I know that using CTRL+F brings up the search box but to my mind it should be there by default to match other similar functions (Select Family for example). So whilst looking for something else came across the program “pyautogui which can be used to insert keybindings in python code anybody tried it in GRAMPS before I start playing. Note I am aware of dependencies need for this not needed or used by GRAMPS
