I just realized that re-ordering data is lost with a backup and restore cycle. Is that something that could be resolved?

Yes, the child_ref_list and event_ref_list contain ordered lists. They should be preserved during an export and subsequent import.

Ok, thanks. I will do some tests. Hopefully find a repeatedable case with a small tree. If that it works for test files, I will have to isolate what is causing the ordering loss on my big tree.
