You’re asking about a shared event such as the following?
Where there is a Source Citations tab in the Reference information section and another in the Shared information section:
My understanding is that:
- the lower Shared information would be used for Citations that are common to every sharing instance for that Event.
- the upper Reference information is for Citations that are specifically proving that Person’s (or Family’s) unique Role in the Event.
