Win11 Gramps 5.2.4
Installed 5.2.4 yesterday, but it is SO buggy (Have filed 3 separate crashes as a bug report in two days)
Can I safely uninstall my current version and go back to 5.2.3?

@ursus Reports 13569-13573 that you filed are probably all different manifestations of the same issue.
Although older bug reports exist in Mantis with a similar call stack, so far it doesn’t seem to be a widespread issue for v5.2.4. It would be helpful if the bug reports are confirmed with reproducible steps.
Have found some sort of pattern. But not directly reproducible. All crashes happened after a prolonged time working with Gramps. Say longer then an hour. If I close and reopen gramps then repeat the process that caused the crash in the first place, the edit window just closes and the edit gets accepted. And all crashes seem to have happened after adding or changing the contents of a Note or a Gallery item (mostly jpg’s) on closing the edit by hitting the OK.
This could be very useful in tracking down the issue. Thanks to @gioto, the defects have been consolidated to keep information in one place:
13570 : unexpected error after edit an event note [ sqlite3.DatabaseError: database disk image is malformed ]
what is the destination of your database and backups? Also, what are your settings for the automated backup preferences?
Found a number postings about this message when running out of storage capacity.
Definitely not storage capacity, or a lack thereof. The new version can’t stand any interference with cloud storage, had never any problems before, but have now. And they do not happen when pausing Gramps. So I have to remember to pause it when opening Gramps and unpause it when finished. Which is a bother because I didn’t need to do that. Not ideal, but doable.
You would normally expect a sqlite3.OperationalError: database or disk is full
message if the disk was full.
