I was about to create an issue for it on bug tracker just so it is there too, but I found this, I think its the same thing:
0012594: Themes font size changes are not applied to QuickViews
Yes, the style sheet created for the quick view doesnât take into account the font face or size used in the theme. We should also make sure that ânormalâ text uses the same font face.
A new view mode for Dashboards sounds promising. But maybe we are straying into a GEPS level discussion.
Make a view mode that loads a specified Dashboard .ini (with the Undocked settings moved from the gramps.ini
. So as you switch between Dashboard view modes, the undocked Gramplets of the previous Dashboard view close and a new set appears. (Switching from the experimental CardView Statistic dashboard by @cdhorn to the built-in Dashboard opens the built-in Dashboardâs undocked gramplets. However, those do not close when switching back.)
Undocked Gramplets from the Dashboard and the other views have a different appearance. The undocked Dashboard gramplets (left) waste space with excess boxes and decoration⌠and have a redundant title. Even the other view undocked gramplets (right) have redundancy in the title⌠âGramplet - Grampsâ
Since some of the detachable gramplets (like the Filter or Collections Clipboards) have View Category specific content, it would be more useful if the Category was identified in the title. The example below has a Dashboard icon to the right. (Windows undocked Gramplets have a Gramps icon to the left of the title. Since the Close button (at the right bottom) doesnât âcloseâ, changing the label to âDockâ would be more accurate.
The configuration could use a similar Filter selector to the FilterParams selector. But it should probably be limited to the categories of Person and Families (their partners and offspring).
