Message in console about "Couldn't map window as subsurface"

I’ve seen several warnings in Fedora’s console when various windows are opened.
Since I don’t know how/whether to properly report in MantisBT, please help me isolate the issue to be reported.

(Gramps.py:29313): Gdk-WARNING **: 10:38:48.966: Couldn't map window 0x5612592221b0 as subsurface because its parent is not mapped.

I also do not know if the following is normal. (Still consider myself a Windows user not comfortable with Linux or Gnome.)

  1. Some of these windows are locked to a parent window. (Which is awkward for data entry. Often I want to drag the spawned window to see data in the parent. But since the parent drags with its spawn, it is necessary to cancel out instead.).
  2. And the resizing of spawned windows is strange too. They seem to resize from center than drag the handle independently?

Found a 5 year old report that could NOT be reproduced with Firefox on Wayland.

This machine was also using Firefox and Wayland. So maybe it was related to a failure opening a help_url
