How do I add tags in general?
I’ve tried to find it in the manual, but I can’t.
I’m a complete beginner in GRAMPS.
I’m using GRAMPS 6.0.6

Not sure what you mean by labels can you describe more fully what you
are trying to do.
It might be the Tags are the same thing.

Sorry for the confusion. I’m using a Dutch version. I do mean “Tags.”

Are you asking about tags?
You can use the Edit Organize tags to apply existings tags to the selected record. Or to create a new tag and apply it.
Or click the tag icon (in any of the Object Editor dialogs) to choose which of the existing tags
By the way… the link is to the Gramps Glossary. You can use it as an index of features and where they are introduced in the wiki.
I use Graphview for most of my work and fine them very useful there
simply right click on individual and can get existing tags from list
