Gramps 6.0.6 on Windows 11, 25H2
I’m setting up Gramps on a laptop and I want to rearrange gramplets on the Dashboard. I remember this used to work by dragging the leftmost (wrench) icon of the gramplet. However this is not working for me. I’ve tried dragging both with and without various mouse buttons as modifiers, and with SHIFT, CTRL and ALT as modifiers, but no luck.
What am I missing? For reference here’s a previous thread referencing the drag behavior.
Tried to move a gramplet on the Dashboard, and I couldn’t move it by dragging the gramplet. I then undocked the gramplet and closed it again, so it was back on the Dashboard. Then I was able to move it.

Thanks for taking the time to test it. So far the commonality is that we both cannot drag it initially. Unlike the behavior you’re seeing on MacOS where you can drag it after undocking and closing, I am not able to drag it ever after that on Windows 11.
Next, I minimized and tried drag (no go), and “deleted” (i.e. removed) it and re-added the gramplet, still no joy.
Looks like I spoke too soon! Drag works, but I believed it wasn’t working because there was no feedback on drag, until the gramplet is dropped somewhere and the gramplet moves.
Typically during drag the cursor changes to indicate that the drag action has begun, and a window outline is shown indicating that it is moving. The lack of either led me to believe it wasn’t working.
