What configuration do you have for your Gramps Web instance?
What server? (Local on a NAS, RasPi, home Apache server? Or hosted?)
Are you running Single Tree or another number of trees?
which installing method did you use?
was all the information needed for configuration available in the docs?
Were you successful in setting up the Gramps Web instance? Or did you give up?
are you using Gramps (for desktops) with Gramps Web Sync in combination with Gramps Web?
What other configuration questions should we be asking?

I am also using a Cloudflare tunnel to gate public access and to provide https.
I put in all the things I thought were necessary for the Chat but my system info still shows False.

emyoulation:
What server? - I’m running in Docker on a Raspberry Pi. Only on my LAN.
Are you running Single Tree or another number of trees? - Single tree
which installing method did you use? I tried a couple of methods, ended up installing via Portainer.
was all the information needed for configuration available in the docs? Yes, but I needed to do a fair bit of trial and error. Mostly this was because I’m a complete Docker newbie. The information for the Docker with Lets Encrypt seemed a bit opaque.
Were you successful in setting up the Gramps Web instance? Or did you give up? - On my original attempts I gave up, as I didn’t really understand Docker. I spent some time with it over the last week, and things seem OK.
are you using Gramps (for desktops) with Gramps Web Sync in combination with Gramps Web? - Yes, version 6.06 for both. The Gramps Web is on Raspberry Pi OS (Trixie) and Gramps Desktop is on MacOS 26.2. I’ve had some web sync issues, particularly with syncing media objects, but the database repair and media verify tools seem to have handled this.
Gramps is the only genealogy software I’ve used - I think I’ve got to grips with it now, but I occasionally have to undo things from years ago, when I wasn’t so sure what I was doing.
