Grampsweb won't start

Hi, I have an issue where GrampsWeb doesn’t start. Docker logs look clear of errors.

I’m unsure of the exact version I’m running as I used the “latest” tag when I pulled the docker image ~ 5 months ago. I do know this is gramps v5 based.

If it helps identify the version I ran (without the space)

docker image inspect ghcr. io/gramps-project/grampsweb:latest

Let me know if there is more info needed from the insepct view.

I am unable to connect to the process, Docker shows it as up and the logs show no errors that I can see.

If possible, I could extract the db from the container and put it into a new one if there’s an issue with the container.

Please advise on what I can do

Kind regards,
Malakan

I don’t see anything in the logs that could explain it and I think it’s impossible to diagnose from the distance.

I would strongly recommend to use a newer version, there is no maintained branch compatible with Gramps 5.2.

If I pull latest, what happens to the db? I believe grampsweb works with the current gramps which now uses the new v6 db (switch from pickled blobs to JSON data). Is there a safe data conversion to the new db format?

Am I able to clone the volume just incase?
