Y’know, now that we have Gramps Web and Gramps Connect, we could hypothetically make a “world tree” running on the Gramps framework that we can all work on. We could let people add their own and others’ family trees and merge them all into a single family tree, kind of like Geni and WikiTree.
Additionally, we could add features like markers to mark people, such as “user profiles” (profiles for users of this site) and “notable” for people who are considered notable, and a connection calculator to calculate the closest relation between two people (whether by blood or by marriage).
