I resently downloaded gramps to use for farm animals. I know its possible to get an addon to change the names but it does not bother me and is not necessary.
What is bothering me is that in the latest version Attributes seem to have a very low key function. As I am dealing with farm animals I have all sorts of stuff to take into account when breeding aside from trying not to breed together animals that are too related with each other, suchs as size, color, yeald etc. The only logigal option for this is to store this as attributes.
In the latest version which I recently downloaded its not possible to add attributes as columns in the people view but according to ChatGtp (which I know can be wrong - so I am asking here as well) it was possible in previous versions plus there seemed to be much more options to play with attributes than in the current version.
What I need is to be able to take a group of people/animals and view their atrributes in an easy way as a list with one column as the attribute - not having to click each individual to see what value they have for the attribut in question. It would be absolutely great to be able to see a chosen attribute also on the pedigree chart, and at least be possible to export a list of people/animals with attribute values - which seems not to be possible in the 6.0 version.
Is there an earlier version available that gives me any of these attribute functions I mentioned above or at least somewhat more options to play with attributes than the current version?
