Is it possible for a addons e.g. text reports to change/overwrite the output file formats and add your own document generation to it? I’d like to remove standard ones and use my own, but I wasn’t able to find any addons already doing that.
You should be able to create an addon to add additional document types. We have no addon examples, however Gramps includes the standard types as plugins in the “gramps/plugins/docgen” directory. The docgen.gpr.py includes example gpr for several different document types which are also present in the directory. I suspect you could use one of those as a starting place for your needs.
Since an addon is a plugin, you should be able to make your version an addon.
