Just updated to 6.0.8. from 6.0.6. and it appears to be much less stable. also whenever I try to update plugins in 6.0.8 it generates a list of errors like: “citations/events/families etc. with a tag containing (1.0.1)”. What could be the reason? I assume faulty plugin but how to identify?
Other than the update bug (see below), how so? Please be specific in describing issues and search the bug base to find previously reported issues.
You are running into a known issue which appears not to be limited to 6.0.8: Bug 14246. Any additional information you can provide would be appreciated, and you may add your name to the list of users monitoring the issue for updates.

This is my fault. I am working on it now. The Addon in question is HasTagSubstr. The wrong version is in the gramps60 branch.
Should be fixed in gramps 6.0 Addons now.
