Oooh.. That sounds interesting. There is a lot of Cultural support potential in extending the Surname Guessing to have more extensive options for onomastic conventions in genealogy and linguistics.
Back in 2021, my earliest experiment with scripting in SuperTool was a Surname Origin guesser for a Patrilineal culture with social conventions of “couverture” for mothers. So it also guessed Name Type of Married for Mothers as well as the Origins with a multiple surname form. It might be extended to also create an alternative “Birth name” for mothers too.
