Great plan.
Note that the ‘Remove’ option in Manage Family Trees removes the database but does not move it to your OS recycle bin. So there is no undo regrets.

Hi All.
I have carried out the plan as described and I am happy to report that only my five trees appear on opening Gramps. Also, the ‘Master Folder’ now holds the same five files after closing Gramps.
The back-ups on closing are now going to the designated backup folder.
Thank you for all the help. This time I believe my problems have been fully solved.
