Another person strenuously objected to the use of “Hide” because the effect is not intuitive. (The more intuitive effect would be similar to what users have complained that they expect a “Privacy” to do: simply redact the display without otherwise affecting the application.) Perhaps it would be better called a Disable? Or in this politically correct society, a Deactivate?
