I changed the filter rule again, since I think it’s best to split it into two filter rules:

  1. Degrees of seperation does include all biological and in-law relatives. The partner settings are removes, since they are added through in-law relatives.
  2. I’ll write another filter rule (maybe Degrees of kinship?), which checks only for degrees of seperation among biological related relatives.

That’s a good idea to have two different filter rules. It sounds like the “Degrees of kinship” for biological relatives is the same as the civil law (“Napoleonic”) one that @emyoulation mentioned further above, but I like the word “kinship”.
