I made some edits to some of my media files. I then ran the verify media tool. For each of the medias it tells me there is a missing file and an extra file. Is there a way to tell Gramps “please rely on the path an just update the checksum for me”? (I thought the verify media tool could do that, but I can’t find anything like that.) ---

The [Media Verify has a Generate](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Addon:Media_Verify_Tool#Generate) option. This updates the checksum in the Gramps media record for the file matching the path in the record. The [Check and Repair](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Gramps_5.1_Wiki_Manual_-_Tools#Check_and_Repair_Database) tool will also update all checksums as one of its processes. ---
