# Thumbs not created?

In Grampsweb some thumbs don’t seem to be created.

In the treeview sometimes there is no image. But the image is shown in the detailed view of a person.  
After importing my gramps xml I added all the images through ssh.  
This went well, but it seems that some thumbs are missing. (See image below)

Is there a possibility to regenerate those?

Hi,

you’d first need to find out where the problem is. Things to check:

- Does it show up on a different device or in an incognito tab? If yes, clear the browser cache.
- Does the media management section in the admin settings show any missing media files?
- Please open the dev tools (F12) and check the network queries when you open the tree. There should be a query for this thumbnail, and the HTTP status code or error will be instructive

If it turns out to be a corrupted cached thumbnail, you can just delete the whole thumbnail cache directory, they will be automatically regenerated on demand.

This is the console of DEVTools:  
Seems to be corrupted cache thumbnails. I will delete the thumbnail cache and see what happens.
