# New FamilyTreeView Addon (Thread 2)

Without your Family Tree add-on, I would find it very difficult to represent my complex family relationships. I’m currently compiling local family history books for two towns. There are tens of thousands of individuals and families waiting to be linked.

Unfortunately, this is sometimes very difficult, as in certain time periods, three or four people often share the same first and last name. These individuals can then only be identified by their roles as godparents and witnesses, and thus assigned to a family.

Now I have a request for you. Could you expand your Family Tree add-on so that it’s also possible to display the connections between a person and their godparents and witnesses, and vice versa—that is, the connection between a godparent/witness and the people they are linked to?
