I’m testing a new Windows AIO installer. Can someone with a Windows computer and a github account download this .zip file and run the .exe installer inside? If that works, please run the installed Gramps and report your findings. Thank you! (I tried on wine on Linux and it installs fine, but my old wine can’t run Gramps. I’ll try to update it). ---

I am on Win10 After getting it past my aniti-virus it appeared to install correctly. After attempting to run Gramps, nothing. The programs folder only has three folders: \_internal share var And four files: gramps.exe grampsd.exe grampsw.exe uninstall.exe The share only has an enchant and locale folders each with some empty sub folders var has a cache folder which has an empty fontconfig folder. \_internal has a number of folders including the gramps folder, a number of exe and dll files totaling 135 items. ---

It downloads and the installer works (after overriding the “Unknown Publisher” objection from Windows Defender) on Windows 10 Pro. If you want to try the penultimate version, download this zip, unzip, and run installer: > I have one more version that I’ll post tomorrow that should add gexif2. This version (GrampsAIO-6.0.7-pyinstaller-aio-28fb790\_win64) still set up the files as described earlier in the program folders. However, it did load. Gave the warning that **GExiv2** was not loaded. ---

Excellent! The missing gexiv2 can’t be avoided for now (I’ll start a separate thread on that). I’ll have a final version for testing in about 20 minutes. Then @Nick-Hall can decide what he wants to do. ---

Was going to post last night but was too ill. Please check the install path for Gramps. It is in an entirely new location. And part of the path has the full AIO installer name… but should not. ---

Hope you are feeling better! Which path are you referring to? The path that the application installs to? Here is the installer; if you can point to a particular line that you suspect is the issue, that would help: > I haven’t used Windows since around 1997, so I don’t have much of an idea of that side of the system. ---

I installed and things look good. I did get the warning that **GExiv2** was not loaded. In the program files, is this the new folder structure, everything under the **\_internal** folder? ---
