# Make Active Media versus "preferred" Gallery object

You can only do what you want with the [Family Tree View addon](https://gramps.discourse.group/t/new-familytreeview-addon-thread-2/7014/179). You must define an attribute like “Prefered profile picture” and associate it to the displayed profile picture in preferences of that view (and to the reference to the media for the image you want to appear on the Family Tree View)
