Gramps v.6.0.0 on MacOS Ventura

Running any text report with output to pdf results in `out of memory`.

I have tried to start Gramps from terminal with --debug, but I don’t get any output

> ~ /Applications/Gramps.app/Contents/MacOS/Gramps --debug detdescendantreport

If I run the report writing to an OpenDocument file, it works fine.

Hi,

same problem with Gramps 6.0.0 and MacOS 14.7.4.
I have an “Out of memory” message when I try to generate a pdf report.

Welcome Michael,

I tested and found that for the Detailed Ancestral Report and Detailed Descendant Report, you need to un-check the setting

`Include --> Show gender symbol in front of name`

This option seems to cause an issue. I will [submit a bug](https://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Using_the_bug_tracker) with it. [0013806: Detailed Ancestor/Descendant report fail with Out of Memory if show gender selected - Gramps - Bugtracker – Free Genealogy Software](https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=13806)

If you used a different report, let me know which and I will check it further.
