# Lost filters with flatpak version \[when migrating from 5.1.x deb to 6.0.x flatpak \]

I was using gramps 5.1 from Ubuntu 24.04. I moved to using the flatpak to get a more recent version. However I found that my custom filters disappeared. I see the file ~/.gramps/gramps51/custom\_filters.xml has my filters. I tried copying that to ~/.var/app/org.gramps\_project.Gramps/data/gramps/gramps60/ however gramps didn’t find the saved filters.

I also tried putting the file in ~/.local/share/gramps and no luck. Has someone else managed to migrate the saved filters from 5.1.x deb to 6.0.x flatpak?

Found them at ~/.var/app/org.gramps\_project.Gramps/config/gramps/gramps60
