# GEDCOM upload issue Wikitree/WT do not recognize a marriage source/citation if it is done in the Family record

Version 6.0.3

I make frequent uploads to Wikitree and WT does not recognize a marriage source/citation if it is done in the Family record. It does recognize the marriage date and Place.

However, I tried adding the S/C to the married name in the person record and WT did recognize that S/C (although no marriage info was created, just the note that included the S/C text).

My process is to record all the marriage details in the family record as that seem the correct place to do it. What I want is the full marriage information to be created (as it is today) and a copy of the marriage note containing the transcript.

Is there any way to fix the gedcom that the S/C acts the same when you either have the S/C in the family record in the Marriage Event or in the Person Married Name record?
