The **[Quick View](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Gramps_5.2_Wiki_Manual_-_Gramplets#Quick_View)** shell is also a very useful gramplet.

I like to have the **[Biography](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Addon:Biography_Quickview)** addon quick view in the Bottombar of the People views. When configured in the Quick View shell, it automatically updates to display the vital statistics for the Active Person in conversational form.

Designed for copy’n’pasting a Biography to improve WikiTree profiles using their preferred format, it allows clipboarding of vital statistics for a Person.

This is one of the few places that allows clipboarding the full Person name or Place hierarchy.

I’ve patched my **Biography** addon to also list the parents of the spouse. ([patch](https://gramps.discourse.group/t/liste-de-mariage/6076/5), Feature request [13655](https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=13655))
