# Failure to Update via 6.0 Addon Manager

Just tried updating all new and updated 6.0 addons from the main Gramps “Project” via the **Addon&nbsp;Manager** settings.

It added/updated over 140 plugins and reported 1 failure: “Place Cleanup”

Now the Addons tab (set to all Audiences and Statuses) lists no “clean” searchstring addons. And even though the “Do not ask about previously” option is deselected and checking “New and updated addons”, the Check for for updates now only lists 3 available updates (for _ **failed** _ installs that were _ **not reported** _):

- New Tool:S3 Media Uploader
- New View: Lifeline Ancestor Chart
- New View: Lifeline Descendant Chart

What happened to the **Place Cleanup** listing in either Addon&nbsp;Manager tab?

Restarting Gramps fixes the missing listing. Searching “clean” in Addon&nbsp;Manager shows the gramplet as installed.
