You mean the usual second Tuesday of the month Windows updates have broken some Gramps addons?

Or updates to some Gramps addons give errors in Gramps for Windows?

When launching gramps today it auto gave a list of extensions that had updates. I selcted all and clicked update. Which ended in said error.

Hope this answeres your question.

Those errors are fairly generic.

Could you start Gramps from the console? More debugging information may be reported there.

I’ve just opened Gramps for Windows 6.0.8 and checked for updates to addons. There were quite a few. I clicked the update buttons one at a time. No errors.

The console reply:

class Glade(Gtk.Builder):

no mention of missing updates

The [addon manager](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Gramps_Glossary#addon) now has no more updates to install

I am updating a LOT of addons to fix lint issues. Websearch 1.10.9 and DynamicWeb 0.0.101 are the most recent and both updated this week.

Have you tried to run either of these addons? Can you start gramps from console and post any error messages when running these addons.

I tested both on Mac 6.0.6 version and there were no issues.

This is a known warning and is being addressed in gramps bug [14153](https://gramps-project.org/bugs/view.php?id=14153) . It is not an Addon issue.

@ursus you may have had a bad install.

Back up your customizations for WebSearch first.

Suggest that you use the **Help → Plugin Manager** to uninstall those 2 addons and then restart Gramps, re-install with the [Addon Manager](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Gramps_Glossary#addon).

Every html generated with DynamicWeb returns an empty window in the browser.
I’ll re-install them and keep you posted.
