# Enhancement for the Addon Manager

Another person [strenuously objected to the use of “Hide”](https://gramps.discourse.group/t/what-confusing-gui-can-be-easily-disambiguated/9712/11) because the effect is not intuitive. (The more intuitive effect would be similar to what users have complained that they expect a “Privacy” to do: simply redact the display without otherwise affecting the application.) Perhaps it would be better called a **Disable**? Or in this politically correct society, a **Deactivate**?
