Gramps includes an extensive (rather than massive) [example Tree](https://www.gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Example.gramps). This the data used for all illustrations in the wiki. Also for bug isolation.

Raising the profile of the example data is one of changes for the [5.2 Welcome Gramplet](https://gramps.discourse.group/t/welcome-faq-reincarnate/443). Which is on the default view (Dashboard) on a fresh install.

There are massive GEDCOMs that can be downloaded from sites that benchmark Genealogy software.

You have several gedcom for testing in the [gramps wiki](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/Gramps_5.1_Wiki_Manual#Table_of_Contents):
[Big gedcom examples](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php?title=Gramps_Performance#Genealogical_datasets)

and you have the [GEPS 016 : enhancing gramps processing speed](https://gramps-project.org/wiki/index.php/GEPS_016:_Enhancing_Gramps_Processing_Speed)
