# Change between languages

Hi  
I’m working in a Danish version (Win11-default) - Gramps AIO64-5.2.4-r1  
I would like to work within the program in an english version.  
I can’t figure out how to change this from Danish to English.  
Hope someone can explain it to me.

It is easy, if you installed the English language when you installed Gramps.

If you like to have both Danish and English, make a copy of your desktop shortcut and change the “Target” for the Shortcut to: “%comspec% /c set LANG=en\_US.UTF-8 && start grampsw.exe”.

And for the Danish: “%comspec% /c set LANG=dk\_DK.UTF-8 && start grampsw.exe”

The “Start in” should be the folder you installed Gramps to, e.g.:  
“C:\Program Files\GrampsAIO64-5.2.3”
